Home Service Platforms

Home service platforms help households find providers for tasks such as cleaning, repairs, installation, and moving. Iranian examples including Achareh and Sanjagh organize requests and provider discovery, while their published documentation distinguishes the platform’s matching role from the work performed by individual service providers. Connecting a household task with a provider

Home service platforms organize work that ultimately happens in a physical place. A household may discover a provider online, but cleaning, repairing an appliance, or installing equipment still depends on a person arriving with appropriate skills and an agreed understanding of the task. Achareh’s inspected service directory includes cleaning, building work, repairs, and moving; its homepage presents a sequence of choosing a service or specialist, placing an order, and receiving service at the location. s1

This makes the category more specific than general online advertising. The digital service structures a request around work to be performed, although the exact matching and agreement process varies by platform. Achareh and Sanjagh illustrate different presentations of that process; they should not be treated as an exhaustive directory of Iranian providers. s1s2

Requests, estimates, and customer choice

Sanjagh’s explanation begins with questions about the requested task. It says the platform forwards the request to suitable providers, who can submit proposals. The customer compares estimated costs, previous customer ratings and comments, provider background, and messages before choosing whom to engage. Its documentation also says the customer’s telephone number is shared with a provider only at the customer’s request. These statements describe the platform’s published process, rather than independently measured performance. s2

The distinction between an estimate and a final agreement is central. A proposal helps a household compare offers, while the eventual scope and price still require agreement. Sanjagh’s terms describe negotiations, pricing, and contracts as matters between the service recipient and provider. That is the company’s stated allocation of responsibilities; it is not a determination of how a court would resolve a particular dispute. s4

What a profile or platform promise establishes

Ratings and provider profiles can make prior experience visible, but their meaning requires qualification. Sanjagh’s safety guide encourages readers to consider completed jobs alongside ratings and to inspect the documents associated with a verification mark. It explicitly says the platform does not approve or reject the quality of providers’ work. Its recommendation to record the work’s timing, total price, and details reflects the importance of a clear agreement beyond the profile itself. s5

Achareh’s terms likewise describe a software service connecting customers and specialists and characterize the service agreement as a separate arrangement between those participants. The terms state that specialists can accept or reject requests. These published descriptions help explain the marketplace model, but cannot establish actual employment classification or remove any responsibilities that applicable law might impose. s3

Local availability and the evidence still needed

Achareh presents city-specific entry points, while the inspected Sanjagh directory was a Tehran page containing household repair, cleaning, installation, and moving categories. This supports describing service discovery as geographically organized. It does not establish that every listed task is available in every neighborhood or at every requested time. s1s6

The category’s significance lies in making requests, offers, and provider histories easier to compare. Whether it also improves prices, worker earnings, punctuality, or dispute resolution requires outcome evidence beyond service menus and terms. The inspected sources do not establish those effects, and no national annual series is supplied here. s1s2s4s5
