Research cutoff: · Updated:What a wallet records
A useful starting point for understanding an Iranian digital wallet is the balance and transaction record exposed by its provider. Vandar’s customer-service documentation describes tools for managing customers’ identity information, wallets, bank identifiers, cards, subscriptions, and transactions. Within that system, the wallet section provides operations to view a customer balance and register increases or decreases. This is a documented example of wallet infrastructure supplied to businesses. s1
The customer-wallet operations require a customer identifier within a business account. Their examples label the currency as RIAL and associate balance changes with tracking references. The transaction history records deposits and withdrawals alongside resulting balances. These details explain the bookkeeping interface, but they do not by themselves establish the legal ownership, safeguarding, or bank-deposit status of the money represented. s1
[s1]Customer balances and business balances
Vandar separately documents a business wallet through its statement service. That interface exposes a business balance, while related reporting covers transactions and settlements. Its balance example identifies the currency as toman, and the accompanying explanation specifies that denomination for the service. s2
This creates an important reading distinction: the customer-wallet documentation labels its examples in rials, while the business-balance documentation uses toman. A reader cannot assume that similarly named balance fields share the same denomination. The documents also concern different account scopes—an individual customer record within a business and the business’s own balance. Combining them without checking scope and units would obscure what each number represents. s1s2
The business statement service includes filters and financial tracking fields. Its separation of balances, transaction reports, and settlements is useful context for the word “wallet”: a displayed balance and a completed settlement are different records in the documented system. The documentation does not establish that a wallet debit necessarily results in an immediate transfer to a bank account. s2
[s1] [s2]A wallet within a broader financial platform
Consumer-facing platforms may present several financial activities together. Digipay’s inspected homepage separates payment services from loans and credit, installment purchasing, insurance, and investment-related services. Its payment section advertises payments and transfers, while other sections describe different products and purposes. s3
For an international reader, this product structure is a reminder to identify the actual service behind a familiar app name. A payment function, borrowing arrangement, and investment product answer different needs even when they appear within the same platform. The homepage establishes how Digipay presents those categories; it does not establish common eligibility, fees, withdrawal rights, or protection across them. s3
The documented examples make wallet terminology more concrete, but a complete Iranian overview still requires evidence about how balances are held, where they can be spent, and how users redeem them. Those questions cannot be answered from a balance API or product menu alone.
